Back home again in Indiana

And we're back, we pulled in around 6:00 am after driving all night and slept for a couple hours. We attempted to put the house back together but it's not looking good.
I missed our exploits on Thursday and Friday so I'll catch up now. Paula Deen has a restaurant in Savannah that Susan was dieing to eat at so we got up early so we could drive downtown and get our reservations. They start taking names at 9:30 and when we got there the line was already pretty long. Luckily we got a table for that night and went back to get ready for our dolphin tour. The dolphin tour was fun but Connor got a little sea sick so he didn't enjoy it as much as I wished he would have. I guess I had the wrong idea about what we were doing because the closest the dolphins got was maybe 50 yards, and they weren't doing anything amazing just breathing. It was neat but it didn't do much to hold the interest of a four year old.
So after our boat outing we got all gussied up for The lady and Sons, Paula's restaurant. We had to wait a while for our table but it was worth it. We all decided to load up on the buffet and I really was a glutton but I guess that's what vacations are for.
After check out on friday we went back to Savannah for a trolley tour of the historic district. I was a little apprehensive about this but it was really fun. We road around old Savannah for and hour and a half then ate at The Pirates House. We ended up leaving Savannah around 5:00 pm on Friday, so after potty, fuel, stretching and whatever else we ended up doing it took us 13 hours to get back.
All in all it was a great trip, but I'm glad to be home. Now it's time to get back to work and running and decide what I'm going to blog about next.

Welcome home! I am a little jealous about your dinner at Paula's place and trolley tour of Savannah. Sounds like a pretty good vacation.
